What you can expect from this site, and what we ask of you. Short, because there is not much to say.
- Who we are
Lighthouse Training Center is a registered Canadian charity, business number 778365528RR0001, at 2095 Weston Rd, Unit 210, Toronto, ON M9N 1X7. This site is ours, and these are the terms for using it.
- What the site is for
It tells you what we do, lets you book a free session, send us a message, and give to the charity. You can read it, link to it, and quote from it with the source named. Please do not copy whole pages, scrape it, or use it to send us automated messages.
- No promise of an outcome
The training is free and we work hard at it, but we do not promise a job, a placement, or a certificate. Certificates are issued by Google, on Google's terms, when you complete the work. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice for your situation; the paid accounting work we do is a separate engagement with its own terms.
- Bookings, messages and donations
Booking a free session happens on Square's appointment page under Square's terms. Messages from the Contact page are delivered by FormSubmit. Donations are made on CanadaHelps under CanadaHelps' terms, and CanadaHelps issues the receipt. What each of them collects is in our privacy policy.
- Other people's words and sites
The quotes on this site are the words of the people named beside them. Where we link to Coursera, Google, the Canada Revenue Agency, WhatsApp or anyone else, what you do there is between you and them.
- Changes, and the law that applies
We may change the site and these terms; the date at the top of this page is when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
