What we do with what you send us.

The form on the Contact page asks for your name, an email address, how you heard about us, and a message. We use it to write back to you and for nothing else.

The message is delivered by FormSubmit, a form-delivery service, to our inbox at [email protected]. FormSubmit handles it only long enough to send it on, under its own privacy policy at formsubmit.co. We keep the email until the conversation is finished, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

The form has a hidden field that people never see and automated senders tend to fill. If it is filled, the message is dropped before it is sent.

Booking happens on our appointment page, which is run by Square. What you enter there is handled by Square under its own privacy policy, and it reaches us as a booking with your name and contact details so we can meet you.

Donations go through CanadaHelps, not through this site, so your card details never pass through us. CanadaHelps takes the payment and issues the tax receipt under its own privacy policy, and passes us the name and address on the receipt.

This site runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. We do not know who visits or which pages they read, and the site shows no advertising.

The map on the Contact page is loaded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives the request and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. The address and the directions link work without the map.

We link to Coursera to verify credentials, to Google for the Career Launchpad program, to WhatsApp, to the Government of Canada Job Bank and 211 Ontario from the guides, and to the CRA's List of Charities. Each has its own privacy policy, and what you do there is between you and them.

Every page of this site is served over HTTPS, so what you type in the form travels encrypted to FormSubmit and on to our inbox. We never see or store card details: payment happens on CanadaHelps, which is built for that and audited for it. The message form's contents live in our email account, which is protected by a password and two-step sign-in, and we delete a message when you ask us to.
